Botanist on hand

Botanical illustrators often find many questions arising as they examine and draw plants.

What is this part of the plant called?

Why are scientific names written in this way?

Why is the back of the leaf worth drawing?

What kind of fruit is this?

Are these leafy bits by the leaf stalk important?

How will this seed grow?

What does x mean in this plant name?

Is there anything important to show in this flower?

Having a botanist available at one of your meetings will provide answers and enrich the experience of observing and drawing plants.  Costs (negotiable) are normally £50, plus travel expenses.
